Larry Fink Photo Series
1. What theme did you explore in your series?
The theme I explored in my series was sideways glances. In my Larry Fink photo series there are a lot of different emotions and a lot of different movements. There are many different interactions and emotions between both Ben and Victoria such as connection and confrontation and sometimes just Victoria alone such as the emotions of desire and pleading.
2. How do your photographs show this theme?
Larry Fink describes this theme as many people interacting with one another and their different emotions. In this series I feel as though that is shown a lot.
3. Quote: What does it look like to feel?
In each of these photos we see the emotions and interactions between these people. I relate this quote to my photo series because of the relationships and interactions in the photos.

Metaphor/Replace
1. Define metaphor: A metaphor is a figure of speech in which a word or phrase is applied to an object or action to which it is not literally applicable.
2. Explain how one of your photos uses objects, colors, arrangement to express meaning: In the first photo the colors of my object express a meaning because the color of the yellow food coloring in the bottle expresses happiness, to me it expresses happiness because yellow is a bright fluorescent color and yellow is the color of the sun which is bright and happy and people love sunshine. The flowers and the butterfly around the bottle also express happiness because flowers and butterflies are pretty/happy things.
3. What narrative, idea or phrase is your photo communicating? In the second image my photo is communicating the idea of anger being built up inside of someone. Angriness is usually associated with the color red, my whole point of this image was to communicate how anger can be built up inside someone and how it can be hard to release their anger in a purposeful way.
4. How did you transform a commonplace photo of the object into an exceptional composition that expresses an idea? I took an ordinary bottle and added color and the addition of fabric or other objects and made it represents ideas such as, happiness, anger, and sorrow.
